The short version

Everything below, in plain English.

You have read the honest review — the site is slow and heavy because of what it is built on, not because of what is in it. This is the costed plan that goes with it: the shop moves to Shopify, the pages people read move to Astro, and the two talk to each other so it still feels like one site. The shop comes across whole — your products, your customers and all eighty or so categories, tidied as they move, with the typos fixed and redirects in place so you keep your place in Google. Selling grains, fruit and refills by weight is handled from day one with the add-ons we identified in the review. And the pages people read — your story, the cafe, the bakery, the gardens and the health rooms — are rebuilt to load almost instantly and to be easy for Google and AI assistants to read and recommend, with a content platform so your team can edit them without a developer. Treat the figure here as an honest indication rather than a fixed price — a proper scoping conversation firms it up before anything is committed. Nothing on your current site changes until you are ready.

Your platform, at a high level

What you're actually getting, without the jargon.

Your website will be built on Astro — enterprise level software used by some of the world's largest companies. In practice that means a site that loads near instantly, holds up under real traffic, and is structured the way Google and AI assistants like to read. It is not a template on a page builder; it is engineered, and it will still be fast and current in five years. It runs on managed, enterprise grade infrastructure with a global network behind it, so it is fast everywhere and monitored around the clock. And because it comes with a clean content editing system, your team can update copy, images, and pages yourselves — easily, without touching code and without waiting on a developer.

Pricing

All figures in NZD and exclude GST.

The build investment is $19,200 NZD in total. A booking fee of $5,760 NZD secures your slot, and the balance of $13,440 NZD is settled whichever way suits your cashflow: $1,120 NZD a month over 12 months, $560 NZD a month over 24 months, or as a single payment when the build is complete — with nothing further to pay after that.

  • Contact and visit — hours, directions and how to reach you

Shopify shop buildYour new shop, built on Shopify and styled to match the rest of the site so it all feels like one place. Payments, GST, stock and delivery configured, and the sell by weight setup from the review handled from day one — weighing at the counter, per kilo pricing online, and unit pricing displayed the way good grocers do. The small monthly app fees are paid directly to Shopify and sit outside this build figure.$6,500 NZD
Shop migration and tidy upEverything in your current shop carried across from WooCommerce — products, images, customer accounts and all eighty or so categories. The tangled categories are untangled, the typo web addresses fixed, and redirects put in place so you keep the standing in Google you have built up. Priced with honest headroom, because a migration of this size always turns up surprises — and this makes sure none of them turn into a variation invoice.$5,500 NZD

Timeline

The build runs in three phases, so you can see the direction early and go live with no surprises.

1

Book and discover

20 July, 2026

Your slot is locked in. We map every category, product and page together, confirm the sell by weight setup, and set the brand direction. The homepage is stood up early so you can see the look before the full build.

30% booking fee
2

Build

10 August, 2026

The Astro pages and the Shopify shop are built side by side. Products and categories are migrated and tidied, the weight apps configured, and everything tested with your real products.

3

Review and launch

11 September, 2026

We review together, test the checkout end to end, then switch the domain with every redirect live and hand over with training. Your current site stays untouched until this moment.

Balance settled — instalments begin, or one payment
